Pakistan sees highest daily COVID cases since pandemic began
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 8,183 Covid-19 cases in a single day, it is highest number of infections since the pandemic began.
The previous highest number was 7,586, which was registered on January 22, 2022.
According to National Command and Control Centre (NCOC), the country also reported 30 deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of casualties to 8,183.

At least 68,624 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours with test positivity ratio of 11.92%. The number of patient on critical care has increased by 113 to 1,353 in the country.
The country has so far administered 174,022,456 doses of vaccines with 605,450 jabs provided in the past 24 hours. So far, 80,748,105 people have been fully vaccinated while 2,242,425 people have received booster doses. YTA
