Pakistan's textile exports surged by 26% in first half of FY-21-22

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s textile exports have increased by 26% during the first half Fiscal year of 2021-22 compared with FY-2020-21. According to All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) during July-December 2021, the value of export is US$ 1.6 billion, which is highest ever compared to corresponding years. “Unfortunately, gas suspension to Textile industry suffered a loss of over $250M, still managed to reach $1.64B, highest ever for Dec, compared to last year,” APTMA said in Tweet.
