University of Gujrat and Rawalpindi Women University sign MoU

RAWALPINDI:  University of Gujrat (UOG) and Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on research collaboration and capacity building capacity in online teaching.
RWU had the privilege to be the sub-campus of UOG, which was recently given the status of a public sector university. Dr Anila Kamal, a renowned professor from Quaid-i-Azam University, is being appointed as the founding Vice Chancellor.
At the occasion of MoU signing, Prof Dr Shabbar Atiq, the Vice Chancellor of University of Gujrat reiterated full support of UOG in research collaboration, joint grant proposal submission for funding to national and international donors, and capacity building of faculty in online teaching. The ORIC (office of research innovation and commercialization) representative of both the universities were also present at the occasion.
Director ORIC of UOG Prof Dr Audil Rashid highlighted the key features of this research agreement and briefed about the modalities of MoU for mutual actions set forth.
Dr. Bushra Parveen, Director ORIC of RWU discussed the road map of future research initiatives where joint interventions for both the institutions are possible. Dr Anila Kamal thanked the VC of UOG for his personal visit to RWU where the MoU signing took place.
